I am guessing you think that this online Pokemon game is just for kids but that isn’t true. This is a Role Playing game and as such plays like any RPG, kind of. Well Nintendo does it again. Nintendo Australia has released an announcement about details of the launch of the Nintendo DSi.

There is bad news, there is good news.

The bad news: no blue DSi will be available but the really bad news is that Nintendo is going to sell the DSi for AUD$299, which is $100 more expensive than the price of a DS Lite. At the moment I think the Wii is too expensive – it’s $100 more than the base xBox360. The Wii price should have dropped ages ago and the games should not be any where near $100 that they are now. I have read around the internet that Warner Bros. is going to re-release the first three Pokemon movies in a new two DVD super set. It looks like the movies will be in full-screen format and will have English-language dubbed onto them. The DVD set will have loads of extras added, such as some Pikachu short films, director/producer comments, some movie trailers and even a few music videos. Pokémon: The First Movie and all its extras will be on disc one, and the other movies and their extras will be on the dual-sided disc two. I don’t like the idea of the dual sided disk, this is cheap and you have no label on them. Making three disks would only cost cents extra – I didn’t know they made these disks any more.
